SEMIYA UPMA

INGREDIENTS: Semiya - 1cup
                          Onion (sliced) - 1
                          Green chillies(slits) -3
                           Urad dhal(menapappu) - 1tsp
                           Channa dhal(sanaga pappu)- 1tsp
                           Curry leaves
                           Mustard seeds - 1/4tsp
                           Cashew nuts - 1tbsp
                           Oil +Ghee - 1tbsp
                           Water - 1:1
METHOD:
1. Take semiya in a plate and lightly roast it in plain tawa without any oil or ghee.keep aside.

2. Chop onion and greenchillies and keep aside.


3. Keep kadai add oil+ghee fry cashewnuts,mustard,channa dhal,urad dhal.


4. Add sliced onions,greenchilies and curry leaves and fry well.

5. Let it fry well then add water 1:1.


6. Add salt and let the water boil.
7. Then add the roasted semiya.

8. Let it cook till water absorbs it in low flame.
And serve hot......................................
If you want you can squeeze lemon on top...........................................
